- More than 300 wait staff served 60,000 pieces of hors d'oeuvres and 2,850 bottles of champagne or other beverages for 10,000 people.

- An 8-foot wide, 20-mile long roll of carpet will cover the entire exhibit floor-- enough to carpet 744 average homes.
- It's almost a quarter mile from corner to corner of the exhibit hall-- long enough to lay the John Hancock Building on its side.
- 7.2 million pounds of freight, not counting vehicles, accounting for over 720 tractor-trailer loads that would stretch for over 8 miles if lined up.
- More than 2 1/2 miles of truss lighting in 1998 with 2,900+ truss lights and 50 overhead motors.
- The entire show takes only five days to set up with 65,000 labor hours represented by the extraordinary efforts of qualified personnel from Teamsters, riggers, carpenters, decorators and traffic directors.
- These dedicated people operate 140 forklifts, two cranes, 12 45-foot booms and 10 scissor lifts.
- 110 maintenance people daily operate 110 vacuums to keep the show clean 50 people haul 7,000 plastic bags of non-food waste from the show floor daily.
- Two shifts of 150 porters and polishers per shift representing over 21,600 personnel hours maintain the 1000+ vehicles on display.
- Over 16,600 personnel hours are devoted to security and crowd control by show management to best serve show visitors.
